About Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program

Every year, the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is offered to international students from all over the world. This scholarship can only be taken in France. The duration of the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship varies among masters and PhD scholars: a maximum of 24 months for master’s level and 36 months for PhD level.

France is one of the most sought-after study destinations abroad. With over 3,500 higher education institutions, it is considered a study hub for students. Here, you will find a wide range of courses to choose from, including management courses, engineering sciences and political sciences.

Although the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is offered in France, it is, however, for non-French nationals.

Who Is Funding the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship?

This scholarship is funded by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. The Eiffel Scholarship is designed to win over top foreign students to enroll in masters and PhD programs at private and public institutions in France.

What is the Financial Coverage for Eiffel Excellence Scholarship?

This is a free and fully funded scholarship in France, and covers all necessary student-related expenses, including monthly allowance for living expenses, monthly stipend, housing allowance etc.

What Is the Number of Scholarships Offered?

Now, there is no specified number of scholarships to be offered. According to reports, 378 Eiffel Excellence Scholarships were awarded in 2019. It is expected that this number will increase to at least 500. However, this is just a mere speculation.

Available Fields of Study in Eiffel Excellence Scholarship 

Eiffel Excellence Scholarships are available in three main fields, namely: Economics and management, Law studies and political sciences, and Engineering sciences. Some majors you can choose from are:

• Chemistry

• Life Sciences

• Nano and Biotechnology

• Environmental Sciences

• Information and Communication Science and Technology

• Law and Political Sciences

• Economics and Management

• Engineering Science etc.,

Value Description of Eiffel Excellence Scholarship

For Master’s level:

Eiffel Excellence scholarship offers you a monthly allowance of €1,181. In addition, student may also benefit from a housing allowance, health insurance by Campus France, as well as an international round-trip ticket from your home country to France.

For PhD level:

A monthly allowance of €1,400 is offered. Also, you may benefit from a housing allowance, health insurance by Campus France, as well as an international round-trip ticket from your home country to France.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To be awarded this scholarship, you must meet certain requirements:

• You must be a non-French national. If by any chance you have dual nationality: one of which is French, then you will not be eligible for this scholarship.

• If you are applying at master’s level, you must not be more than 30 years of age by 2021. On the other hand, if you are applying at PhD level, you must not be older than 35 years by 2021.

• Applications submitted through any other means, other than the French Educational Institution, will not be accepted, let alone be considered.
