The novel coronavirus known as COVID-19 has spread across the continents of the world excluding the Antarctica. On 11 March, 2020 the World Health Organization declared it a pandemic.   • 5G spreads COVID-19

Also, if these droplets land on surfaces, a person can become infected by coming in contact with these surfaces, then touching their face.

The weather condition of a place does not prevent the COVID-19. A person can get infected irrespective of the weather – Hot or humid. Exposing yourself to temperature higher than/below normal body temperature will not prevent COVID-19 as countries in these regions have conveyed cases of COVID-19.

  • Hand dryers and ultraviolet lamp kill coronavirus

Hand dryers and ultraviolet lamps cannot kill the new coronavirus. UV radiation causes skin irritation.

  • Pneumonia vaccines protect against COVID-19

Researchers are continuously working to create a vaccine against COVID-19 and WHO is complementing their efforts. Vaccines against pneumonia cannot protect
you against COVID-19. Nevertheless, vaccines against respiratory infections is proposed to protect your health but should be done with the consent of your doctor.

  • Mosquitoes transmit coronavirus

Mosquito bites cannot transmit coronavirus as it is a respiratory virus which is foremost spread through droplets expelled when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

  • Drinking alcohol prevents coronavirus

Based on facts, excessive intake of alcohol can be risky to the health which weakens the immune system. It does not protect you against COVID-19.

  • Antibiotics kill coronavirus

Antibiotics are not effective in stopping and treating coronavirus as antibiotics work against bacteria.

  • Only older adults are at risk

All age groups are susceptible to coronavirus. Not withstanding, older people seem to be vulnerable to COVID-19 due to underlying medical conditions accompanied by old age.

  • Thermal scanners can diagnose coronavirus

Thermal scanners are only efficient in examining people who have temperaturehigher than the normal body temperature. Nevertheless, the cannot detect people who are infected with the new coronavirus as it takes between 2 to 14 days before an infected person becomes sick and develop a fever.

Hitherto, there is no specified medicine proposed to treat coronavirus. Not withstanding, persons infected with the disease should receive apt care to relieve and treat symptoms as some unique treatments are under investigation and will km pass through clinical trials. People are advised to wash their hands regularly for 20 seconds so as to eliminate viruses that may be on your hands and avoid infection that could occur when you touch your face. Avoid close contact with anyone sneezing or coughing.
