A scholarship worth $1,000 is offered by Steinberg, Goodman & Kalish Law firm to assist outstanding students who are facing financial or social hardship.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria.

You must be a national of US or a permanent US resident and be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at an accredited community college or university. The student must also be willing to submit their original work and provide proof of full-time enrollment should his or her submission be chosen.

Application Deadline 15 July, 2020

Application Details

  • All applications must be completed and submitted before the deadline day, that is, by 15 July, 2020.
  • An essay of not more than 1,500 words must be posted on the student’s blog on the university website or student’s personal blog. The blog post should be made public and the student should be recognized as the author of the essay.

Essay Topic: Since the previous decade, teenage driving has been a controversial topic. Many argue that stricter driver’s license requirements should be implemented by the state and the legal driving age should be increased. Suggest alternative preventive measures states can take to reduce crashes and injuries among young drivers.

  • All applications submitted via any other channel aside from the one above will not be put into consideration.
  • By 15 August, 2020 – Scholarship recipient will be notified via email or phone.
