   Currently, the world is craving for qualified medical personnel who can proffer solutions to diverse medical issues. 

 Because of this, several medical institutions have been set up to train individuals in the medical line. 

  As of 2020, there are 12 major medical colleges in Texas. Asides that, there are four others, three of which are Osteopathic and one, yet to be accredited. 

  Admission is open to all, not just its citizens. 

 So, if you wish to take up a medical course in Texas, then this article is mainly for you. I will be giving a full list of various universities and colleges and their ranking.

  This will serve as a factor to consider whilst choosing any of the schools.

Baylor College of Medicine

  • Overview: Baylor College of Medicine is a private health and sciences university. It applies science and discoveries to promote its education, community service and health care. It ranks among the best in Cardiology and Heart Survey, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and GL Surgery.

  • Overview: After the Texas legislature established this school, back then in 1969, it had just 19 students. But now, it admits about 240 students and it’s currently the seventh largest medical school in the United States.

University of North Texas Health Science Center

  • Overview: The University of North Texas Health Science Center is a public medical research school in Fort Worth, Texas. It is the graduate institution of the University of North Texas System. This school has five colleges which enrolls about 2,243 graduate students. Later, the school partnered with Texas Christian University in a bid to creating a new MD school in Fort Worth.
