The University of Otago, in New Zealand, is delighted to announce, and receive application for the Vice-Chancellor’s scholarship for the 2020/21 academic year.

The Vice-Chancellor’s scholarship is designed to recognize, and support, outstanding international students at the University of Otago. Furthermore, its goal is to support those students who are committed to making positive impact on the society in their future careers.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria to study at University of Otago

To be considered for this scholarship, applicant ought to meet the eligibility requirements. Scholarship applicants must;

  • Be international students who are not permanent residents of New Zealand. 
  • Have completed their final year of secondary school abroad, or in New Zealand, achieving a University Entrance qualification similar to NZQA Level 3.
  • Have completed a recognised abroad pre-matriculation course similar to NZQA Level 4.
  • Have enrolled for full-time study in an eligible undergraduate degree programme.

Application Details

There is no formal scholarship application process. Recipients of this scholarship will be automatically selected at the discretion of the University of Otago.
