 This scholarship is fully funded by the Mandela Rhodes foundation with aims of keeping the  legacies of Mandela alive, by equipping them with skill’s knowledge and competence needed to transform our continent,  it founding principles is centered on reconciliation, education, entrepreneurship, and the belief that leadership begins with inner transformation.  This scholarship lasts for a period of 2 years and students attend residency programs during the weekend. This scholarship will cover the following areas 

• Tuition and registration fee of each institution
• Study materials allowance 
• Accommodation and meal allowance
• Medical aid Allowance
• Research and conferencing grants 
• Economy class flights for her students from different parts of Africa at the beginning and end of their programs

Eligibility and selection Criteria for Mandela Rhodes scholarship for  young African’s

• This scholarship is open to all citizens of Africa from any country
• Candidates must be a postgraduate degree student
• Full funding is for Honor’s or Masters degree 
• Must possess the necessary requirements needed for  their programs like a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent before January 31, 2021
• Must be between the ages of 30 and 19 years to apply for this scholarship
• Must have a good academic history and must  have shown and worked towards the four principles of tgr foundation which are education, reconciliation, leadership and entrepreneurship. 
• Must be willing to attend the leadership development programs which occurs during the weekend
• Must present three letters of recommendations clearly stating you are committed to the four principles of the foundation.
•  A personal essay describing yourself 
• Documents: Academic transcript’s,  ID and passport’s,  personal essay, reference letter
