Eligibility and Selection Criteria

You must meet the following conditions before you are considered for this scholarship;

• Have received admission offer to study at the University of Essex for the 2020/21 academic session.

• Have enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree.

• Be in the first year of study at the university, at the beginning of the award.
• Have gotten 34 points or above in the International Baccalaureate. 

It is important to note that this scholarship may be held alongside any other university awards.

Application Details

There will not be any need to complete an application form. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria, and have attained the requisite grades will be automatically awarded the International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarship. Successful applicants will be duly informed by the end of August 2020.
