Aston University is currently offering a scholarship to provide the best opportunities for her students. A good number of women face challenges in engineering. This scholarship is designed for sensational women who wish to strongly pursue a career in engineering & applied science. This scholarship gives successful applicants a mentoring and support programme as well as networking opportunities with business and industry throughout the coursework.
Established in 1966, Aston University is a public varsity located in the city centre of Birmingham, England and is dedicated to providing excellent teaching based on pioneer research. Aston University aspires to give her students the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career. The university campus is home to over 3000 students and has sporting facilities, a library with over 700 reader places, cafés, restaurants, gym, health center, places of worship, just to mention a few for the benefit of the students.
A bursary of £6,000 will be disbursed to successful recipients to help with tuition fees alongside one-to-one career mentoring by a member of the schools senior team.
Eligibility & selection criteria:
- Applicants must be international female students from countries outside of the European Union.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong commitment to education and leadership through past academic and leadership achievements.
- Applicants must show commitment to engineering which can be demonstrated by achievement in academics, work experience, volunteering or extra-curricular projects and activities.
