About the Turkish Government Research Scholarship 2021

In a bid to strengthen international relations between Turkish universities and other world universities, through collaborative academic work between academicians, the Turkish Government has decided to fund this research scholarship. This scholarship is offered specifically for postgraduate studies in prestigious Turkish Universities. The duration is between 3 to 12 months. As earlier stated, you must be at a stage of writing your thesis before applying. Right now, the number of awards offered is not specified.

Value Description

If you are selected for the Turkish Government Research Scholarship, a monthly stipend of 3,000 TL will be made available to you. Also, you will gain access to necessary research facilities at your host institution.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

You must meet the following basic eligibility requirements in other to be considered for this scholarship:

• Be an international student of any nationality, with valid passport/National ID.
• Have enrolled in an available field, and at the stage of writing your thesis.

Lest I forget, you must also meet the admission and academic requirements of your host university.

Application Deadline: There are 4 application rounds to this scholarship. Right now, the fourth round is open. You can apply from 1 October 2020. This call for application will close on 31 December 2020. You are advised to apply as soon as possible.
